The Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation is scheduled to open up its baseball season today with a doubleheader at the Ron Martin Field in Kapa‘a, though the weather may change those plans.
The Kapa‘a Warriors will play host to the Kaua‘i Red Raiders, the first game beginning at 10 a.m.
The second game will follow approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the opener.
However, the consistent rain through Thursday and Friday could force a postponement.
Kapa‘a athletic director Greg Gonsalves said Friday that the official determination would be made this morning.
