The cost-sharing program is a partnership between the county and local businesses.
Applications are also available at the Department of Personnel Services, Suite 140. The office is located at the Lihu‘e Civic Center in the Mo‘ikeha Building.
The deadline to apply is April 20. The website to apply online is www.kauai.gov.
A limited number of positions are available through the program in the following areas including: project mapping and communications; food and beverage; landscape design; clerical; engineering; architecture; and medical records, the release states.
The six-week cost-sharing program will begin on June 16 and end on July 29.
Those selected for employment will be required to pass a drug-screening test.
If an auxiliary aid or additional support is required for participation in the cost-sharing program, please contact the Department of Personnel Services at 241-4956 at least seven business days before the program begins.
