LIHU’E – A woman reported missing late last month has turned up.
The county on Friday reported that Berlyn Tutop Bautista has been located and is in good health.
Kaua‘i Police Department had asked for the community for help in locating the 28- or 29-year-old woman, who was last seen on the night of March 22 at her Hanama‘ulu home.
At the time, KPD believed she may have flown to O‘ahu.
County spokeswoman Sarah Blane said she couldn’t say whether Bautista was found on O‘ahu.
“Out of respect for her privacy, KPD will not be releasing where/how she was located but does stress that she is safe and in good health,” Blane said.
