Greg Gonsalves said he appreciates the effort and generosity of the Kiahuna Tennis and Swim Club in making the KIF Tennis qualifying tournament a success.
Herb Noe is waiting for this weekend when the Charity Doubles take place at the Po‘ipu Kai courts. He said they can still accomodate more players, too.
With the tennis out of the way, the next one is KIF softball, Wednesday at Isenberg Park. Keith Burgess said with the luck Kaua‘i High School has been having with coin flips, they should be in Las Vegas.
Ross Shimabukuro said the loser of the Wednesday game will play an ILH team Saturday here on Kaua‘i. Save some money because the KIF wants to help the ILH visitors so there will be an admission charge.
Mahalo to Pauline Ibia at the KIF baseball game — that Coke hit the spot — and over at Kukui Grove, Bob Klass is getting the ono for some of the Regency at Puakea Lemon Meringue Pie (there’s gotta be a way we can find out when it’s on the menu).
The weather has been great for Kenny Miyoshi and Masa’s Shave Ice (you should’ve seen the line Saturday). OK, time to see him at the Kukui Grove Monday Market.
