Jim Rosa was balancing between the Mokihana Aquatics timed trials and getting the popcorn and shave ice machines to the March for Babies event, Saturday.
But he was not the only one as Janice Bond (Northshore Lions pancakes, next Sunday?), Tom Lindsey of The Dad’s Club and Cathy Shanks of P.A.T.C.H. were doing the March for Babies and stuck around for the S.T.E.P.S. Parent and Child Fair, afterwards. Hats off to Cheryl Ann Farrell on a great event!
Mark James was balancing emcee-ing for the March and still made it to KIF Tennis to watch one of the Kapa‘a girls play. Arnold Meister took over the microphone duties when Mark left for tennis, and for those who did not get to enjoy the fair, Jeannie Odo needs to get a recording of the national anthem so everyone can get chicken skin.
Kelli Oride was helping at the event with the Key Club of Kaua‘i High School and still made it to KIF golf at the Kaua‘i Lagoons.
Chas Okamoto is still relishing his “win” over Joshua Herr at the KIF qualifying track meet, Thursday. Chas also won his singles tennis match, but there’s still the Rotary Track Meet later this week.
