Hats off to Aram Keuilian, the director of Marketing at the Regency at Puakea, on getting Tess Schoeny and her parents Dennis and Mercedes to bring the Sweet 2 Treat van to Puhi for the Regency residents’ Birthday Thursday celebration.

Most the residents were surprised they didn’t have to look at the pricetags for the ice cream (goes really well with the hot afternoons) treats they wanted, and to make it taste even better, Caitlin Lloyd provided some refreshing piano tunes on the grand piano.
Congratulations to Judy Lenthall and her Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank staff as well as Ed and Cynthia Justus (weren’t they just recognized for volunteering with the County’s Boards and Commissions?) on bringing home the Hawai‘i Better Business Bureau Torch Awards. Judy said Kaua‘i was the only other island other than O‘ahu to have recipients of the awards.
OK, time to go support the HHSAA play-in game (where’s Mr. Bob Kawamoto and his coffee can when you need him?) between Kaua‘i High School and an ILH team.
And then, it’s off to see Ron Mizutani at the Hale ‘Opio Passion for Purses.
