Mineichi Saiki of Wailua Houselots died March 18, 2011, at Garden Isle Health Care at age 102. Born Feb. 17, 1909, in Makaweli, he retired as a custodian with the State of Hawai‘i.
He is survived by son Alvin (Kristine) Saiki of Pearl City; daughter Arlene (Frank) Harada of Hanama‘ulu; grandchildren, Shari, Jodi, Cheryl, Scott and Blanche; great-grandchildren Kelsie, Kaelyn, Mark, Nainoa, Lucca, Camryn, Myka and Maya; nieces nephews and cousins.
Services were private.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
Richard Williams
Richard Kunane Williams Sr. of Makakilo died April 1, 2011, at Kaiser Foundation Hospital at age 65. Born Oct. 25, 1945, in Lihu‘e, he was the former owner of Eleu Builders.
He is survived by wife Barbara J. Williams, sons Richard K. (Gina) Williams Jr. of Florida, Stephen I. Williams, Jacob K. (Andrea) Williams; father Rev. Gilbert K. Williams Sr.; brothers Gilbert Williams Jr., Samuel Williams; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is 1:30 to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at Makakilo Baptist Church in Honolulu; memorial service at 2 p.m.
Patricia Farias
Patricia Ellis Farias of Lihu‘e died at her home on April 24, 2011, at age 68. Born March 17, 1943, in Hawai‘i, she was retired from Walmart.
She is survived by husband Frank Farias of Lihu‘e; son Jon (Nikki) Farias of Kapa‘a; daughter Della Farias of Lihu‘e; sisters Daphne Cremer of Anahola, Celeste Farias of Puhi, Alana Agustin of Hanama‘ulu, Valerie Santos of Hanama‘ulu; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be celebrated on Friday, April 29, at Lihu‘e Lutheran Church at 10 a.m.

Toshiko Arakaki
Toshiko Kiyonaga Arakaki of ‘Ele‘ele died April 21, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 78. Born June 8, 1933, in Hanapepe, she was retired.
She is survived by husband Akio Arakaki; sister Setsuko (Albert) Fukushima of Wailua; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held and the family request no koden or monetary gifts.
