Francisca Dagan Alejandro of Hanama‘ulu died at home on April 14, 2011, at age 64. Born in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on Oct. 16, 1946, she retired from Hanama‘ulu Café as a kitchen helper.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Susanta) Alejandro of Hanama‘ulu; mother, Dionicia Dagan of Hanama‘ulu; sister, Saturnina (Alejandrino) Bumanglag of the Philippines; hanai mother, Maximina Pascual and family; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Lihu‘e Lutheran Church with visitation at 8 a.m. and services celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Alejandro family with arrangements.
Marian Reichert-De Gennaro
Marian Meeker Reichert-De Gennaro of Lihu‘e, formerly of Princeville, died April 12, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 86. Born Sept. 24, 1924, in Columbus, Ohio, she was a secretary as well as a real estate agent.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Marilyn) De Gennaro of California, Daniel (Deborah) De Gennaro of California, Thomas (Cookie) De Gennaro of California; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank De Gennaro of Lihu‘e, formerly of Princeville, died April 13, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 91. Born April 11, 1920, in San Francisco, Calif., he was a superintendant for Pacific Gas & Electric.
He is survived by his sons, Wayne (Marilyn) De Gennaro of California, Daniel (Deborah) De Gennaro of California, Thomas (Cookie) De Gennaro of California; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Seraphin Octavio
Seraphin Octavio of Kalaheo died April 17, 2011, at age 97. Born on April 17, 1914, on O‘ahu, he was a crane operator for Kekaha Sugar Company.
He was preceded in death by wife Frances V. Octavio and sister Beatrice Almeida.
He is survived by sons Emanuel M. (Ellie) Octavio of Arizona, Timothy (Arlene) Octavio of Kalaheo, Luke (Ruby) Octavio of Kalaheo, Zachary (Marina) Octavio of Kalaheo, Kenneth (Bernie) Vidinha of California; brother Frank (Lucille) Octavio of Less Summit, Missouri; sisters Josephine (Elmo) Douglass of Kalaheo, Sylvia Yonalunus of Frackville, Pennyslavnia; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Friends visit the family on Monday, April 25, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo. Visitation is at 8:30a.m. with Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. and burial to follow at Koloa Catholic Cemetery. The family request no flowers and Aloha attire.

Abraham Williams
Rev. Abraham “Abe” B. Williams of Lahaina, Maui, died March 30, 2011, at age 93 at the Maui Memorial Medical Centre, Wailuku. Born Oct 21, 1917, in Anahola, Kaua‘i, he was a retired pastor for Waiola Church in Lahaina.
He was preceded in death by wife Ethel Williams; brothers Ernest Chan, Solomon Williams, Bernard Williams, Teddy Williams; sisters Kaleiahola Kenney, Kealii Tam, Adeline Chandler.
He is survived by son Abraham B. (Cindy) Kalama Williams; daughter Katherine Lokelani (Mychael) Patrick; brothers Rev. Gilbert “Kaliko” Williams, Benjamin Williams, Rev. Gaylord Williams; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., Friday, April 22, at the Waiola Church, Lahaina. Service is at 10 a.m, burial at 11 a.m. at the Waiola Congregational Church Cemetery with a luncheon to follow. The family requests aloha attire. Online condolences may be sent to: lokelanipatrick@gmail.com
