Richie’s Bar and Grill in Lihu‘e just keeps getting better and better. The popular hangout just got a brand-spanking new margarita machine, pouring state-of-the-art frozen margaritas.
But Richie’s goes a step above the rest by preparing a frozen margarita with a li hing mui rim.
Cute little bartender Dustylyn Farias has been working there since the beginning as a waitress. She has just made 21-years-old, and now sports her glittering smile from behind the bar.
Dustylyn said she loves to go to the beach and hang out with friends. The Kaua‘i born-and-raised beauty actually spends most of her free time caring for her 6-month-old baby girl, Autumn.
One of these days Dustylyn will end up using the business degree that she earned on O‘ahu, and become a successful businesswoman. So hele on to Richie’s If you want to try one of those amazing drinks only Dustylyn knows how to prepare.
Richie’s is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. There are two pool tables, several large screen TVs and an Internet jukebox — the only one on Kaua‘i — with over two million songs.
But there’s more. Richie’s has live music every Friday, 7-9 p.m. Next week a new karaoke system is arriving, and on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday all talented and non-talented singers will be able to sing for free.
