Kaua‘i Community College is hosting Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, the International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault and Gender Violence.
The event is scheduled for from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday with a march through campus, speakers, music, and raffle followed by lunch, a news release states. There will be information booths, t-shirts, and prizes for participants.
Each year, an ever-increasing number of men, women, and their families are joining to demonstrate that men are willing and able to be courageous partners with women in making the world a safer place, the release states.
