Kudos to Eddie Sarita (Pauline Ibia was looking for the Camper at the UH parking garage), Clifford Lee, Peter Rayno, Lenny Rapozo and all the people who were involved in getting to the dedication ceremony for the Peter Rayno Sr.
Kudos to Eddie Sarita (Pauline Ibia was looking for the Camper at the UH parking garage), Clifford Lee, Peter Rayno, Lenny Rapozo and all the people who were involved in getting to the dedication ceremony for the Peter Rayno Sr. Park in Hanama‘ulu, Friday.
Ian Costa had the right idea when he joined one of the kids in some pickup hoops while Lenny was talking about everybody having memories at the park. Tommy Contrades said Eddie wants them to double the malasada recipe for the next swap meet (it’s really good!) and even Neal Rapozo was there for a little while before going off to a ballroom dance function.
Out at Kaua‘i Community College, Ron Wiley got some first-hand sampling of Sandy Poehnelt’s new zapple pie and Bill Spitz got his beef stew from the Hanalei Taro lunchwagon.
Larry Feinstein was helping Melissa McFerrin (Finnegan got to stay home because of the weather) and Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau’s Liz Ronaldson got to come out and celebrate Christmas at the Kaua‘i Orchid Society’s Mother’s Day Orchid Show and Sale at Kukui Grove Center.
Hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day.
