David Texeira
David “Kimo” Texeira Jr. of Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i died on May 15, 2011 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 60. Born in Hawai‘i on May 4, 1951, he retired as a Supervisor for Kaua‘i Coffee.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Texeira; daughter, Kim (Blaise) Silva; son, David “Keoki” Texeira III; two sisters, Donna Texeira; Shan (Eddie) Resinto; five grandchildren, Kawika Texeira; Brayden Silva; Blaine Silva; Keenan Texeira; Blaise “Bubba” Silva; numerous uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Church from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu‘e Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.

Rose Marie Meheula aka Rose Pia died at home on April 14, 2011, at age 61. Born in Pennsylvania on July 6, 1949, she was a dedicated homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Meheula Jr.; mother, Stephania Evans; and sister, Dodi Evans.
She is survived by two sons, Jamie (Lana) Simmons and George “Brooks” (Laureen) Pia; two daughters, Keikilani (Abbie) Simmons, Pua (Clifton) Camelo and 13 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 28, at Niumalu Beach Park at noon.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
