Racing at the fourth Kaua‘i Motocross Riders Association event starts at 10 a.m., Sunday at the Wailua Motocross Track.
“Enjoy the fun in the sun and catch all the high flying action, bar-banging competition of motocross at the highest level on the island,” said Brian Barretto in an email. “Kaua‘i’s future motocross stars, our keiki, all-terrain vehicle riders and local legends will be seen tearing up the track.”
Admission is $5 for spectators with children 5 years and under admitted free.
Barretto said a lunch wagon and shave ice will be available.
Riders are encouraged to pre-register for the event, Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. at the Wailua track.
During this time, track preparation work will be done and volunteers are welcome to assist.
In addition to the motocross event, motocross riders are invited to ride the track on Saturdays, Sundays and all state and county holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Practice fees will be collected at the gate.
