KAPA‘A — A wooden tool shed on a Kapa‘a property located on Apopo Street was completely destroyed by fire Sunday night, a county news release states.
No other structures or lives were threatened by the fire.
Damage to the 10 ft. by 10 ft. structure and its contents is estimated at $5,000.
The fire was reported at 8:21 p.m. Engine 2 from the Kapa‘a fire station and Engine 8 from the Kaiakea station along with Rescue 3 from Lihu‘e responded to the fire.
The fire was deemed under control at 8:25 p.m. and fully extinguished at 8:46 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
