Keegan Loo of Lihu‘e fired a 3-over par 75 to clinch the Boys 13-14 division of the Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association Junior Tour Series (All Ages) at the Coral Creek Golf Course on O‘ahu, Tuesday.
Loo, one of four Kaua‘i Junior Golf Association players in the tournament, led the opening round with a 4-over par 76, and with Tuesday’s round finished with a two-round total 151, a stroke better than Matthew Shen of Kapolei (77-75-156), the Junior Golfer who carded a hole-in-one at the Wailua Golf Course No. 3 during the JTS Series-Wailua in April.
Rilen Loo of Lihu‘e finished seventh in the Boys 11-12 division, with a two-round total 170 (80-90). Kane Rogers of Honolulu topped that division on a 149 (74-75).
Na‘ea Oda of Kapa‘a, playing in the Girls 13-14 division, finished fourth with a two-day total 178 (90-88). Ji Hae Lee of Honolulu topped that division with a 160 (78-82).
Kenji Miyata, also of Kapa‘a, finished the the Boys 15-18 division at 16th place with a 177 (85-92). Jonah Fonacier of Mililani, O‘ahu topped that division with a 151 (76-75), tying with Kyeton Littel-Kamimoto of Kahului, Maui (76-75-151).
Taylor John McGerity of Honolulu topped the Boys 7-10 division with a 156 (79-77), Miki Manta of Honolulu topped the Girls 7-10 division with a 171 (82-89), Alanis Sakuma of Aiea, O‘ahu topped the Girls 11-12 division on a 172 (82-90) and Margaret Min of Honolulu topped the Girls 15-18 division with a 151 (76-75).
