John Scott of Athletic Quest will be available to help student athletes and their parents get recruited to play college sports.
Scott will be at Kapa‘a High School, today from 7 p.m. and at Waimea High School on Wednesday from 7 p.m., said Greg Gonsalves, the Kapa‘a High School athletic director, in an email announcement.
“John Scott from Athletic Quest will help our student athletes discoverhow they can get recruited to play college sports,” Gonsalves said in the email.
“This comprehensive one-hour seminar will cover everything student-athletes and their parents need to know about playing at the next level.”
Some of the topics which Scott will touch on include what college coaches are looking for, how to know when you’re really being recruited, how to market yourself to college coaches, how good academics increase recruiting opportunities, finding scholarships and financial funding, and athletic and academic requirements.
