Casey Jane Fernandez and Keiki Martin (they’re Kaulupono basketball girls) are spending the off-season from community basketball as cheerleaders for the Koloa Redskins. They were having fun following the Sunday Pop Warner games at Hanapepe Stadium.
Zack Octavio (he’s the Kaua‘i Pop Warner Football League’s Volunteer of the Year) was helping as usual and Ben Bragman, Shawn McGurn and Jerry Morris had double-duty, working the Kaua‘i Youth Football games at Vidinha Stadium before getting to Hanapepe (anyone stop at Menehune Mart in Lawai?).
Hats off to Brad Hiranaka on the KYF season-opener and the waffle dogs! The good thing about those Vidinha Stadium games is being able to hop over to North Vidinha and the KSA soccer games where Kenny Miyoshi and the Masa’s Shave Ice really hits the spot during the hot Sunday.
Robin Herbig was busy doing a whole bunch of different things before being able to get some game pictures and Bruce Herbig sounds good on the mike.
