Yes, Monday was Halloween and there was a Mystery Golfer waiting for an opening at the Puakea Golf Course between the Kaua‘i Collegiate Invitational.
He said there is a Kaua‘i boy, Ka‘awa “Unga” Solomon, who will be playing for Kahuku High School when the team faces the Farrington Governors for the OIA championship, Friday on O‘ahu (he also said the game will be telecast on OC16).
Congratulations to T.J. Kua and Cory Oride on having a great tournament the first two days out. Dr. Michael and Gail Oride have been faithful fans, following the group.
It seems like they did that with Kelli before she left for Notre Dame as well.
Some of the Kaua‘i Junior Golfers were out Sunday, and Kenji Miyata was thrilled to be partnered with Alex Ching during the Saturday’s fundraising tournament.
Hats off to Josie Pablo of Mahelona Hospital and Jade Elvenia and Nena Ynigued of Wilcox Memorial Hospital on doing such bang-up Halloween events for Kaua‘i’s people!
Josie said now she’s gotta finish her application for the Veterans Day parade because they have a handful of veterans who want to be in the Saturday parade.
