At least he was wearing his Rotary cap. Bill said since the run is sponsored by the Rotary Club, he would promote that event.
Lisa Murphy of Kaua‘i Government Employees Federal Credit Union was busy, but still has time to order Mark’s Place lunches for her committee, while Corinne King went off to help the Rotary club.
Tina Brun was lucky Polly Brun-Lee could round up the Queen Lili‘uokalani Children’s Center volunteers to help with the Thanksgiving boxes and packages at the St. Rafael’s Church (Joe Brun was worried about the palm trees, which were being spruced up for the church’s 170th anniversary).
Shelly Gerardo said people are welcome to celebrate this historic event on Dec. 10 during the carnival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. One thing is certain — there will be a lot of good food and Polly will make sure the Fun ‘n Kwazy rides will be there.
