Tickets for the Thanksgiving imu service fundraiser for the Waimea High School Project Grad are available through Nov. 19 and can be purchased from any Waimea Project Grad committee member, or emailing waimeaprojectgrade2012@gmail.com.
Advance tickets are highly encouraged as only 250 tickets will be available for a suggested $15 donation. The donation allows for food items up to 15 pounds to be wrapped, labeled and imu-ready.
Proceeds from the imu service fundraiser will help with expenses incurred in executing the Waimea Project Grad overnight event scheduled for May 18.
“One of the best things I like about helping with Project Grad is the bonding which takes place when we work together, between parents, between kids, and between parents and kids,” said Donna Umetsu, a Waimea Core Committee volunteer.

Waimea Project Grad is a grassroots, nonprofit dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of Waimea High School seniors by providing a drug-, tobacco- and alcohol-free environment on graduation night.
