HONOLULU — The Kapa‘a Warriors boys soccer team has advanced to the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association Division II championship game after a 1-0 win over Christian Liberty Friday night in Honolulu.
The No. 2 Warriors will face top-seed Honoka’a in the championships game today at 5 p.m.
Kapa‘a advanced to the semifinals with a 2-1 victory over Makua Lani on Thursday. The two teams were tied 1-1 at the end of regulation, but the Warriors won on penalty kicks, 4-2, to advance to the semifinals.
