LIHU‘E — The Waimea Menehune tennis program placed nine players on the 2012 KIF Tennis All-Star roster, the KIF announced last week.
Christopher Ajimura, Bradley Cano and Kaleopunaheleimakikalani Hauata made the roster for the Waimea in the boys singles category while the duo of John Kevin DeGuzman and John Rommel Gawaran placed on the boys doubles list.
On the girls side, Lani-Rae Green and Britteny Barreira were named for singles. The Menehune had two doubles pairs make the list with the team’s of Rachel Umetsu and Annalissa Hartsell along with Shalyn Jim and Caylee Yamamoto made the list.
For the Kaua‘i Red Raiders Tarryn Orial and Noelani Murray were named for Girls Doubles and Jerik Centeno, Matthew Kanna, Radcliff Floria and Kevin Jian were named all-stars in Boys Doubles.
For Kapa‘a, Casey Nakamura made the list in Girls Singles while Reginald Agaran and Justin Medina teamed up for the Boy Doubles.
Island School placed Ryan Perez on the list in Boys Singles and April Oo in Girls Singles.
