Ed Kawamura (he’s busy getting ready for the Congressional Gold Medal ceremony, May 30) was thrilled when some Maruyama representatives from the Japan office arrived to help at the M. Kawamura expo Friday.
Sandi Nadatani-Mendez (she was on lunch hour) was looking for a weed eater (Kawasaki had a lightweight, budget-priced model, although the rep was still waiting on his new hedge trimmers) and James Yamamoto took advantage of a fresh batch of Kangen water to “fuel up.”
Terry Phillips was mixing up some iced tea before heading out to the sunshine market and Leesha Kawamura was exercising the big dog.
Kudos to all the graduation organizing committees and congratulations to all the graduates! Chaz Okamoto is home from college and was checking out the Waimea graduation.
Coach Keali‘i Aguiar (Blue-and-White football this week) and his coaches were checking out all the people heading to the graduation and were joined by Pedro Saligumba’s mom.
OK, time to go check out K-PAL island wrestling finals.
