Advance registration for the Second Annual 4th of July Beach Events presented by the Niumalu Canoe Club are currently being accepted.
The events will unfold at Kalapaki Beach starting at 8 a.m.
Events include a Keiki (12 and Under) Swim, a 750 Meter Swim, a 1,500 Meter Swim, a 750 Meter stand-up paddle, 1,500 Meter SUP with awards being presented to the top three finishers for men, women, under 18 and Keiki Swim.
Registration is $25 in advance, or $30 on race day for each event. The Keiki Swim event is $15 in advance and $15 on race day.
There is a special fee of $40 in advance, or $50 on race day, if an athlete wants to do both the swim and SUP events.
Proceeds from the event will be shared with the YWCA of Kaua‘i.
