LIHU‘E — There will be road closures for the annual Kaua‘i Hospice Concert in the Sky scheduled for Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Vidinha Stadium Soccer Field in Lihu‘e.
The Kaua‘i Police Department will close off Kapule Highway, between Ka‘ana and Haoa/Halau streets, throughout the duration of the fireworks show, tentatively scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
Officers will be manning the closures and will reopen the roadway at the conclusion of the fireworks show, at about 9 p.m.
Motorists should allow additional time to get to their destinations as traffic delays are expected.
