PRINCEVILLE — A swimmer remains hospitalized after an injury at Queen’s Bath on Friday, according to a Kaua‘i County news release.
Kaua‘i Fire Department Engine 1 responded to a call at approximately 2:50 p.m. Friday. A caller reported that a 24-year-old local male was struck by another swimmer who jumped into the pond at Queen’s Bath in Princeville.
Rescue personnel stabilized the injured man and carried him up the trail to awaiting medics, the release stated.
He was transported to Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihu‘e. His current condition was not known.
