“The He and She Show” is a stand-up comedy routine seeking to expose those “funny” moments that occur in all relationships.
Funny moments exist in all relationships.
Few relationships however are made up of two comedians who dare share each of those funny, awkward and sometimes embarrassing moments with an audience. “The He and She Show” exhibits the struggles of conjugal co-existence throughout each hilarious detail on stage.
Maui residents Sickels and Wyckoff are celebrating their anniversary on the island of Kaua‘i after a successful Mainland “The He & She” tour and shows on their home island.
Wyckoff is an irreverent stand-up comedian whose humor is universally offensive to all creeds, races and cultures. He credits himself as a lone wolf howling at the moon yet a leader of his pack.
Wyckoff has performed in world-renowned comedy venue’s such as The Comedy Store, The Improv, Ice House, Ha Ha Cafe and many others.
He is a founding member and a feature member of Hawai‘i’s own Power Up Comedy. He can be seen on “Grey’s Anatomy,” “CSI New York” and if you look closely, you can see him in the box office hit “Bridesmaids.”
Sickels, Wyckoff’s girlfriend, is a sarcastic, dry and witty comedian whose many embarrassing and usually awkward moments have become comedy jewels for all of us to share.
She became one of the founding members of Power Up Comedy, a comedy performance group and production company based on Maui.
She also works with the rest of Power Up Comedy to produce, promote and perform in large monthly comedy shows as well as weekly open mic comedy nights.
Sickels has been hailed as someone whose unique brand of comedy is subtly naughty but wrapped in an innocent and sarcastic package. She has headlined for the Female Comics of Hawai‘i show in Honolulu as well as co-headlined with “The He & She” Show on the Mainland and Maui.
The 7 p.m. PG-13 comedy show is not only an over-21 year-old show, but it is discouraged to bring anyone younger than their late teens due to some adult themes. There will be drink specials for those over 21.
The 9:30 p.m. show is rated R and will highlight more adult themes.
No matter which show you choose to go to, the live stand-up comedy experience with two of the funniest comedians dating today guarantees you a very good time.
Each show will also feature some fun crowd interaction with giveaways and door prizes.
Trees Lounge is located at 440 Alkea Place in Kapa‘a.
