Bryan Hiraoka
Mr. Bryan Yoshito Hiraoka of Hilo, Hawaii died on August 28, 2012 at his residence I Hilo at the age of 56. Born in Hilo on March 8, 1956, he was employed by KTA Super Stores as a cashier and Puainako Travel Service as a travel consultant.
He is survived by his brother, Bruce (Lisa) Hiraoka of Waimea, Kauai; sisters, Gayle (Wendell) Sato of Hilo, and Debra (Paul) Noborikawa of Kaneohe; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm; memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm.
Casual attire is requested and no flowers.

Grace Furugen
Grace Mieko Furugen of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on August 22, 2012 in Honolulu at the age of 91. Born on June 2, 1921 in Anahola, Kauai, she was a retired health nurse for Hawaii State Department of Health.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sotaro and Ina Tanabe.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara E. (David) Minkin Furugen; sister, Akiko Ohima; brothers, Hideo (Joan) Tanabe, and Lloyd (Claire) Tanabe; and 3 grandchildren.
Private services were held in Honolulu.
Arrangements were handled by Hosoi Garden Mortuary, Inc.
Mary Abigania
Mary Manzano Abigania of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on August 24, 2012 at the age of 81 at home. Born on January 27, 1931 in Waimea, Kauai, she was a retired Nurses Aide at Wilcox Memorial Hospital and Samuel Mahelona Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gabriel and Angela Manzano; and her husband, Rufo Abigania.
She is survived by her 12 children; daughters, Cynthia Dela Cruz, Nancy Abigania, Vicky Abigania, Christine (Bernard Mabini Sr.) Abigania, Alice Abigania Deloatch, Brenda (Ho Tai) Zerba; sons, Louis (Edith), Michael (Arminda), Robert (Doris), Richard (Tess), Glenn (Sharon), and Reynold Abigania; sisters, Sally Manzano Damasco, Carmen Manzano Summers, Lorraine Manzano Rouse; 31 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday September 6, 2012 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel. Visitation from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Service at 7:00 p.m.; inurnment on Saturday September 8, 2012 at Veterans Kauai Cemetery at 9:00 a.m.

Frances Rapozo
Frances J. Rapozo of Lihue died on September 1, 2012 at Garden Isle Health Care at the age of 90. She was born in Pennsylvania on July 26, 1922 and retired as Dining Room Manager from Kauai Surf.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Rapozo.
She is survived by two sons, Greg (Larraine) Rapozo of California, Bruce Rapozo of Lihue; one daughter, Rosalind Rapozo of Oahu; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Rapozo family with arrangements.
