LIHU‘E — Free flu shots will be offered for HMSA, HMAA, UHA plan members and Medicare Part B beneficiaries as well as health screenings for glucose, cholesterol, oxygen levels and blood pressure at The First Hawaiian Bank Kaua‘i PrimeTime Wellness Fair Sept. 25 at the Kaua‘i Beach Resort.
The fair will also feature information about how to stay healthy, plus tips on finding the right balance to achieve overall happiness and well-being, according to a news release. The Fair runs 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the general public.
The fair will feature more than 30 exhibitor booths offering the latest trends and health information.
Throughout the fair there will be door prizes, games and a grand prize drawing for a $200 gas gift card, plus live entertainment featuring the Kilauea Seniors ‘Ukulele Group and a chair aerobics fitness demonstration by Anna Velasco of Ho‘ola Lahui Hawai‘i.
“At First Hawaiian we encourage people to be both physically and financially healthy,” says Cindy Ing, First Hawaiian Bank PrimeTime program manager. “The bank sponsors these wellness fairs on every island as a community service each year. It’s a fun and easy way to learn about the variety of healthy choices and available resources all in one location.”
