Alfredo Macalma of Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i, Hawaii passed away on September 15, 2012 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 74. He was born on September 15, 1938 in the Philippines.
He is survived by Eniesta Macalma; daughters, Lanie Macalma, Marivick (Andrew) Rochelle, Emma (Florencio) Buquing, Jennifer (Ronald) Reyes, Mailynn Cacal, Agnes (Junior) Taroma; sons, Roland (Shirley) Macalma, Albert Macalma; brothers, Rudolfo (Encarnacion) Macalma; sisters, Rosita Menor, Magolalena (Rudy) Sacro; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lihu‘e. Visitation at 8:00 am, mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary, Koloa, Kaua‘i.

Grace “Auntie Bra” Bacle of Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i passed away on September 14, 2012 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 61. Born on January 18, 1951 in Hawaii, she was a retired Bus Driver for Robert’s Bus Company.
She is survived by her life long partner, Annette Torres, brother, Miki (Leah) Toledo; sister-in-law, Donna Texeira; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Poipu Beach Park from 10:00 am. Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am. Scattering of remains will be private on a later date.

Russell J. Abreu
Pastor Russell James Abreu of Koloa, Kaua‘i, Hawaii passed away on September 22, 2012 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 35. Born on October 07, 1976 in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i, he was an automotive technician at Kaua‘i Toyota as well as a youth pastor for The Old Koloa Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Abreu; and maternal grandparents, John & Mary Dawson, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Abreu; daughter, Teighlor Abreu; son, Joseph Abreu; mother, Martha (Wesley) Cronk; father, Russell (Opal) Abreu; sisters, Janet Abreu and Stephanie (Joe) La Roche; paternal grandmother, Millie Abreu; and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday October 6, 2012 at The Old Koloa Church, Koloa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Veteran’s Cemetery, Hanapepe.
