LIHU‘E — Volunteers from CBRE Group will team up with local Habitat for Humanity chapters Sunday to improve the homes and lives of local families.
The efforts are part of CBRE’s third-annual “Get Out and Give Back” BuildMonth through CBRE Cares, the company’s national corporate philanthropy program. The projects include homes on Kaua‘i and O‘ahu.
On Sunday, over 35 CBRE volunteers will continue construction on three Kaua‘i Habitat for Humanity home sites located at the Anahola Hawaiian Homes.
“Following the success of last year’s BuildMonth, we are excited to partner with Habitat for Humanity on these important projects,” CBRE Senior Managing Director Kimberly Lord said.
“Habitat for Humanity Honolulu is so pleased to work with CBRE volunteers for this project,” Assistant Executive Director Rodney Kwock said. “By teaming up with CBRE Hawaii, we will be able to continue supporting Habitat’s family, volunteer and construction programs.”
BuildMonth is the flagship event of the CBRE Shelter Program, which focuses on providing shelter and housing to those in need by improving housing options in low-income communities across the country.
