Maria Ramos
Maria Martinez Ramos of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on November 21, 2012 at the age of 87 at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital. Born on March 17, 1925 in San Esteban, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a retired laborer for Lihue Plantation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulogio & Maura Martinez.
She is survived by her husband, Primitivo Ramos; sons, Reynaldo (Marjorie) Ramos, German (Milagrosa) Ramos, Samuel (Renee) Ramos, Crescencio (Becky) Ramos, Jerry (Emily) Ramos; daughter, Gladdy (Angel) Palaroan; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Church, Lihue. Visitation at 8:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.; burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery

Lionel Kaohi
Lionel Joseph Kalua Kaohi of Eleele, Kauai, died on November 16, 2012 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 73. Born on October 24, 1939, in Makaweli, Kauai, he was an Herbicide Truck Driver with Gay & Robinson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Markham Hanohano Kaohi and Katie Kia Kaohi; brother, Francis Kaohi; and sisters, Lilly Kaikuaana and Katherine Bellinger.
He is survived by his wife Lydia Iwalani Gee Moi Fu Kaohi; daughters, Meilin Leonette (Randy) Miyashiro of Eleele, Marlene (Myron) Barino of Hanapepe, SuYen Kaohi of Hanapepe, KwaiYen (Kelly) Viquelia of Hanapepe, and hanai daughter, Sarah Peters of Hanapepe; sister, Janet Kahalekomo of Kalaheo; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Kalaheo Latter Day Saints. Visitation will be from 8:30 am to 11 am, service starts at 11am. Burial will follow at Hanapepe Hawaiian Cemetery.
Family suggests casual attire.
