Manuel Corregedore Jr.
Manuel Gomes Corregedore Jr. of Lihue passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on November 8, 2012, at the age of 72. He was born in Makaweli, Kauai on March 4, 1940, retired from the State of Hawaii, Office of Veterans Services as a Veteran Services Counselor and retired from The United States Army after 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Eleanor Corregedore Jr.; brother, Michael Corregedore; sister, Evelyn (Bob) Lee.
He is survived by his wife, Lana Marie Corregedore; son, Marcel (Rosa) Corregedore; daughters, Claudia (Thomas) Lensgraf and Audrey (Will) Moore; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue with visitation from 4:00 p.m. and services celebrated at 5:00 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Corregedore family with arrangements.

Maizie S. Shigemoto of Lihue, Kauai, died on November 11, 2012 at Garden Isle Healthcare at the age of 104. Born on July 25, 1908, in Lihue, Kauai, she was a homemaker and waitress with Hamura Saimin.
She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Yoshida of California, Grace Fujii of Lihue, Nancy (Ted) Measures of Arizona, and Carol Williams of California; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private Service will be held at a later date.
