Danielle Teter is a happy mom since Tierra was home and promoting the Point Loma Nazarene University Monday during the College and Career Fair at the Kaua‘i Beach Resort.
Tierra’s sister Ember is on the Waimea High School girls’ soccer team and said the Menehune beat the Hilo Vikings Saturday.
Hats off to Bricen Moritsugu of Alu Like for pulling together another great event which was well-attended despite school being out for the Veterans Day holiday.
The only person missing was Nelson Battalion of Kaua‘i Community College, but that’s because John Constantino said there was no food. Keisaku Yogi was at the front of all the KCC representatives because this was his kind of event, and mahalo to Frances Dinan for the nice purple pen (it writes really good).
Les Tamashiro had the right idea — babysit the car while his family took care of the fair. But there was no rest for him since he was at ‘Ele‘ele School to watch the Hanapepe brush fire.
Daniel Momohara was checking it out, but left for Kukuiolono Park (he said the view was better, but it was too far), and Juan Lorenzo had to go to Ace Hardware before they closed.
