Lindsey Carineo
Lindsey Lehua Carineo Sr. of Koloa, Kauai, died on October 26, 2012 at Home at the age of 62. Born on May 30, 1950, in Waimea, Kauai, he was a retired Carpenter with Shoi Construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Lucy Carineo; brothers, David “Kedo” Carineo, Edwin Carineo (infant), and Alvin Carineo; and sister, Lynette Carineo.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Silva Carineo of Koloa; son, Lindsey (Corinna Vasconcelles) Carineo Jr. of Koloa; daughter, Chelse (Lopaka Bukoski) Carineo of Koloa; brothers, Frank (Lei) Carineo Jr. of Hanapepe, Jerry (Lenora) Carineo of Hanamaulu, Edwin Carineo of Omao, and Ricky (Nadine) Carineo of Kalaheo; sisters, Yvonne Carineo of Hilo, Lorraine (Daniel) Manus of Hanapepe, Rose (Ritchie) Hosaka of Waimea, Jo-Ann Lopez of Hilo, Joan Olive of Hilo, Frances Carineo of Hilo, and Laverne Carineo of Missouri; and two grandchildren, Landon Bukoski, and Alyssa Vasconcelles-Carineo.
Memorial service will be on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at St. Raphael’s Church in Koloa. Visitation is from 8:30 am to 9:45 am, followed by 10:00 Mass.
Family suggests casual attire.

Manuel Corregedore Jr.
Manuel Gomes Corregedore Jr. of Lihue passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on November 8, 2012, at the age of 72. He was born in Makaweli, Kauai on March 4, 1940, retired from the State of Hawaii, Office of Veterans Services as a Veteran Services Counselor and retired from The United States Army after 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Eleanor Corregedore Jr.; brother, Michael Corregedore; sister, Evelyn (Bob) Lee.
He is survived by his wife, Lana Marie Corregedore; son, Marcel (Rosa) Corregedore; daughters, Claudia (Thomas) Lensgraf and Audrey (Will) Moore; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue with visitation from 4:00 p.m. and services celebrated at 5:00 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Corregedore family with arrangements.
William Kaohi
William Kapaialani Kaohi died peacefully at his home in Eleele on October 28, 2012 at the age of 83. Born on January 24, 1929, in Hanapepe, Kauai he was a retired Operations Manager with Young Brothers, Ltd.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Rachel Kaohi.
He is survived by his wife Miyoko Kaohi, son Jeffrey Kaohi, daughters Bonnie (Dexter) Shimatsu and Marilyn (Russell) Hasegawa, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. One of seventeen children, he is also survived by siblings Dudie Kaohi, Mercedes (William) Ching, Clarence (Lily) Kaohi, Betty (Howell) Kaleohano, Arlene (Edmund) Naholoholo and Ronald (Margie) Kaohi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Hanapepe Hawaiian Congregational Church, 3418 Hanapepe Road, Hanapepe, Kauai. Visitation 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Service 10:00 a.m. Family suggests casual attire. Private scattering of ashes to be held at a later date.

Alvin Wasano
Alvin “Barney” Wasano of Kekaha, Kauai died on November 5, 2012 at KVMH at the age of 76. Born on November 23, 1935, in Lihue, Kauai, he was a MsGsgt with Marine Corps and Industrial Fireman with Boeing Co.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie Matsusaka, Lincoln Wasano, Edwin Wasano, and John Fritz; and sisters, Ethel Fritz and Doris Yee.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Wasano; son, Cedric H. Wasano of Seattle, WA; daughter, Blanche M. Tombleson-Wasano of Lake Forest, CA; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley Wasano of Kentucky; sisters, Lorraine Davis of Nevada and Joann Souza of Honolulu; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai.

Kah Chek Lim
Kah Chek Lim died on October 29, 2012 at the age of 75. He was born on June 10, 1937, in Malaysia.
He is survived by his wife, Yan Tay; sons, Leong Hai Lim of Lihue, HI and Leong Liang Lim of Reno, NV; daughters, Pey Yee Bruk of Reno, NV and Pey Jin Lim of Reno, NV; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel. Visitation and service at 11 am.
