Dennis Eugene Simao
Dennis Eugene Simao “Migito” of Eleele, Kauai, died on October 26, 2012 at Garden Island Health Care at the age of 68. Born on May 31, 1944, in Eleele, Kauai, he was a Utility Truck Driver with McBryde Sugar Plantation.
He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy (Charles) Kaliloa of Kekaha; brother, George (Margaret) Simao of Eleele; sisters, Stella (Francis) Mission of Makaweli, and Patricia Calves of Puhi; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on November 10, 2012 at Salt Pond Beach Park – Main Pavillion. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 noon, service at 11 am. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Hawaiian Cemetery.
Family suggests casual attire.

Doris Crowell
Doris Fukuda Crowell passed away in August. She was a beloved teacher at Waimea High School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ikua Crowell, former Deputy Chief of Police of the County of Kauai.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Chang (Harry); brother, Richard Fukuda (Helen); four sons, George K. (Kathy), Robert (Helen), Mel, and Dee (Kathy Lee). She also leaves behind eight devoted grandchildren.
A private ceremony was held at the Waimea United Church of Christ.
