Tom Summers was eyeing the lighting improvements at Roxy Square which was completed just in time for First Saturday, while inside, Deslyn Jaquias was unveiling the Kaua‘i Boy line of shirts as well as introducing her new designer, Rayna Christian, and her new Hawaiian fish hook design for the Kaua‘i Girl line at the Sugar Mill Cupcake shop.
John Kaohelauli‘i had a busy day at the Kaua‘i Museum ‘Ohana Day featuring the start of the Makahiki, but still had time to set up the konani boards for people to enjoy.
Wood carvers Leo Tangatailoa and Sione Tangatailoa were attracting a crowd with their tap-tapping and Leo said they are looking at establishing a workshop in Roxy Square.
Kendall Andersland had her ‘ukulele in the car, but opted to leave the entertainment to the group outside Tropical Tantrum where they were dispensing great burgers and dogs.
