HANAMA‘ULU — The lane closures currently in effect at the intersection of Kapule and Kuhio Highways, also known as Hanamaulu Junction are will be extended until Friday, Nov. 9.
The closings occur on weekdays from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., and on the days with lane closures planned, contra flow will end at 9 a.m.
The exception to closing will be Election Day, Nov. 6, when all lanes of traffic will be open through the area.
Motorists are recommended to allow for extra travel time and drive cautiously through the area for their protection as well as for others on the road. The speed limit in this construction zone is 25 mph.
