Marilyn J. Keoho
Marilyn Jean Keoho passed away on October 27, 2012 at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 68. Born on January 25, 1944 on Kauai, she was the Founder of Hale Ho’omalu and later retired from the County of Kauai.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Judith Gomez.
She is survived by her husband, Edward K. Keoho, Sr.; daughters, Malia (Canen) Hookano, Leilani (Elton Kaui) Keoho, Leimomi (Mark) Niitani; son, Edward (Rochelle) Keoho, Jr.; sisters, Lauren Lui-Kwan, Donna (Jeff) Gomez-Powers, Ema (Jay) Furfaro; brother, Robert (Helene) Gomez; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Kauai Veterans Center. Services will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. with services and burial to follow.
Kevin Koichi Iwai
Kevin Koichi Iwai of Waimea, Kauai, died on November 23, 2012 at home at the age of 60. Born on February 18, 1952, in Waimea, he was a Terminal Operator with Kauai Petroleum.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sumiko Iwai.
He is survived by his wife, Benjinette “Pili” Nakaahiki Iwai; son, Ridge Luimailana Silva-Vidinha of Waimea; daughters, Erica A.K. (Pua) Iwai of Waimea and Kerri-Anne Y.K. (Kana) Iwai of Waimea; father, Yoshio Iwai; brother, Lonne Iwai of Waipahu; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., service starts at 11 a.m.

Maria Ramos
Maria Martinez Ramos of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on November 21, 2012 at the age of 87 at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital. Born on March 17, 1925 in San Esteban, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a retired laborer for Lihue Plantation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulogio and Maura Martinez.
She is survived by her husband, Primitivo Ramos; sons, Reynaldo (Marjorie) Ramos, German (Milagrosa) Ramos, Samuel (Renee) Ramos, Crescencio (Becky) Ramos, Jerry (Emily) Ramos; daughter, Gladdy (Angel) Palaroan; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Church, Lihue. Visitation at 8:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m.; burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery

Stella Shimatsu
Stella Sono Shimatsu of Kekaha passed away on September 12, 2012 in Fullerton, CA at the age of 94. She was born on October 25, 1917 in Mana and was a dedicated homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Yoshihara Shimatsu.
She is survived by her sons, Marvin (Suzanne) and Lance, both of Boise, Idaho; daughters, Eileen (Al) Cabinte of California and Janice (Stan) Blankenship of Alabama; brothers, Seichi (Teiko) Kiyoichi, Jack (Kimie) and Roku (Hazel) Kanekuni; 7 grandsons, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at West Side Christian Center, 8401 Kekaha Road, with visitation from 9 a.m. and services celebrated at 10 a.m.

Daniel S. Genegabuas
Daniel “Danny” S. Genegabuas of Kapaa, Kauai passed away on November 26, 2012 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 76. Born on May 15, 1936 in Hilo, Hawaii, he was a retired First Sergeant for the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Alejo Genegabuas; sons, Jason (Jana) Genegabuas, Harley (Jennifer) Genegabuas, and Keith (Viola) Alejo; daughers, Gigi Genegabuas, and Janine Kinimaka; brothers, Ernest Matsumoto and Albert Genegabuas; sister, Elsie Pflum; grandchildren, Crystall, Haiden, Tyler, Jayson, Keinan, Keileeann, Kelsyn, and Stanley; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Kauai Veterans Pavilion in Hanapepe from 12:00 pm and Memorial services will be celebrated at 1:00 pm; Inurnment to follow.

Helen Galiza
Helen Macadangdang Galiza of Hanamaulu passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on December 2, 2012, at the age of 43. She was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on December 20, 1968, and was a sales associate with Lihue Walmart.
She is survived by her husband, Willie Galiza of Hanamaulu; mother, Damiana Macadangdang of the Philippines, three brothers, Rolando (Linda) Macadangdang of the Philippines, Emmanuel (Susan) Macadangdang of Honolulu, Federico (Joanna) Macadangdang Jr. of Lihue; four sisters, Lerma (Honorato) Dela Cruz of Connecticut, Edna (Andrew) Georghiades of Greece, Priscilla Soriano of the Philippines, Lilliebeth (Nicomides) Dela Cruz of the Philippines; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Immaculate Conception church with viewing from 8:00 a.m., Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held in the Philippines.

Mabel Kuboyama
Mabel Kuboyama of Eleele, Kauai died peacefully at home on October 7, 2012 at the age of 83. Born on July 11, 1930, she was a bookkeeper/accountant for Richard Kuboyama Electrical, Inc.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Hiroshi Kuboyama; son, Floyd Kuboyama; daughter, Molly (Sherman) Shiraishi, and Patti (Marvin) Rabago; grandchildren, Kai Rabago, Mari (Shiraishi) Nicole, Troy Rabago, and Mia Shiraishi; and 5 great grandchildren.

Christina Constantino
Christina Yadao Constantino of Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on November 23, 2012.
Born on December 5, 1932 in Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii, she was a retired North Shore Community Outreach Worker with County of Kauai, Agency on Elderly Affairs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eutropia and Timoteo Yadao; brothers, Raymond and Bernard Yadao; and sisters, Mary Cabacungan and Esmenia Belmonte.
She is survived by sisters, Josephine (Chris) Asuncion, Frances (Modesto) Bilog; brothers, Jose (Jean) Yadao, Joseph “Juny” (Theresa) Yadao; children, Sharon (Pat) McMillin, Leona (Tom) Blankley, Roy (Lisa Donnan) Constantino, Julie (Pierre) Pavao, Kay Marie (Jeff) Berry, Jodie (Rick Oshita) Carlsen, Chaz Julian (Stephanie) Constantino; and hanai children, Leslie (EvaJoy) Peru, Eileen (Joey) Donohue and Talitha (Andrew) Byram; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Sylvester’s Catholic Church, Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. with Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m.

Koon Ye Ching of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on November 25, 2012 at the age of 97 at Samuel Mahelona Hospital.
Born in Lihue, Hawaii on April 19, 2015, he worked for Lihue Plantation as the Safety Director
He was preceded in death by his parents, Koon Mun & Lum Shee Ching; wife, Phoebe Ching; brothers, Koon Wing, Koon Wai “Larry”, and Koon Lee Ching
He is survived by his sister, Shew Young “Florence” Leong, Oi Kam “Mildred” Kam , Mew Lung “Elsie” Goo; daughters, Lora (Robert) Deahl, Ellen (Michael Belles) Ching; son, Steven (Lisa Jobson) Ching; brother, Koon Chee “Wesley”; numerous nieces & nephews; and grandaughter, Erica Deahl.
Celebration of Life will begin on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Lihue Christian Church. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. with service to follow at 11:00 a.m.; Private burial.

Marion Selma Esteb of Koloa, Kauai passed away on November 26, 2012 at her residence in Koloa at the age of 83. Born in New York, New York, she was a retired RN.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Erika Gedney; and brother, Alfred Gedney.
She is survived by her sons, Eric (Susie) Esteb, Washington, and James (Jovie) Esteb, Kauai; daughters, Victoria (Richard) Coon, California, and Stephanie (Charles “Marty”) Sturgeon, California; 7 grandchildren; 1 greatgrandchild; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Celebration of life will begin on Sunday, December 23, 2012 with service starting at 11:00 a.m. at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Lawai. Family request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society or Lawai Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Tuck Wah K. Lee
Reverend Tuck Wah K. Lee, 93, of Hilo, HI, and formerly of Hanapepe, Kauai, HI died at home on Thursday, November 22, 2012. Born in Olaa, HI, he was a retired Minister with the United Church of Christ, as well as having served parishes on Hawaii Island, Oahu, and Molokai.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann K.J Lee of Hilo, sons, Kenneth Analu (Brenda) Lee of Hilo, and Francis Kainoa (Pat) Lee of Kamuela; brothers, Kwai Wah Lee of Hilo, and Peter Kin Wah (Florence) Lee of Kona; sisters, Miu Chee Matsumura of Hilo, and Miu Lin (Billy) Sibayton of Keaau; sisters-in-law, Margaret Lee of Hilo, and Miriam Sasaki, of Kauai; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Haili Congregational Church on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm. Friends may also call at the Homelani Memorial Park on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10:00 am for Graveside Committal Services. The family requests casual attire and that flowers and lei are welcome.

Ross Lindman
Ross “Rusty” Edward Lindman of Princeville passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on December 2, 2012 at the age of 62. He was born in Texas on April 18, 1950 and was a driver.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanne Lindman; brothers Scott (Nancy) Lindman and Gary (Vicki) Lindman; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Services will be announced at a later date.

Lucy Kailiwai
Lucy Kahauiloulu Kailiwai of Holualoa passed away on December 2, 2012 at her residence at the age of 82. Born on November 21, 1930 in Laaloa, she was a retired housekeeper for Kona Seaside Hotel, and waitress for the former Hotel King Kamehameha.
She is survived by her daughters, MaryLou (Frank) Medeiros of Kapaa, Kauai, Lois (Lloyd) Shirai, Sr. of Kealakekoa, and Betty Lou (Michael) Nelson of Columbia, Tennessee; son, John Oni Kailiwai of Holualoa; 15 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Holualoa starting at 10:00 am with mass to be celebrated at 12:00 pm; reception to follow. For information, call 989-8080.
