Happy birthday to Chloe Marchant who celebrated her special day Saturday (she even had the day off).
Risa Clemmons (she’ll be doing a pau-Christmas craft fair next Sunday at the Kaua‘i Mini Golf in Kilauea) has been doing a good job collecting mizuna for New Year’s, said Earl Kashiwagi of Esaki’s Produce (mahalo for the girls’ “vacation” calendar).
Karin Panui (she was at the Mahelona Christmas party) said she’ll be in Kilauea for the pau-Christmas fair.
Kudos to Josie Pablo, Myra Ornellas, Betty Matsumura and all those Mahelona Hospital ‘ohana on a great holiday shindig. It was also nice to meet up with Miles Takaaze, the HHSC public affairs officer, who knew Clifton Hashimoto (we should all be lucky like him and retire).
And if anyone doubts Santa Claus, ask Lts. Austin and Nayomia (she’s appreciating Kaua‘i right now) Anderson about the guy in the Salvation Army parking lot who “saved” Christmas at the Hanapepe Corps.
