LIHU‘E — The Mokihana Club is currently accepting applications for its scholarship program, according to a news release.
The women’s club raises scholarship money for both music students and nursing students on Kaua‘i. The music scholarships are intended for high school senior students to continue their musical education by attending an accredited college, university or vocational school, or if pursuing a professional music career to study with a qualified music teacher.
Applications are available through teachers at all Kaua‘i high schools or by calling Sarah Rogers at 826-1944 or Winnie Lu at 639-7777.
The Mokihana club meets monthly at the Lihu‘e United Church Parish Hall. For more information call 639-7006.
