Mahalo to Stu Burley who was there to help Kaua‘i High School students with their rocket launches, and mahalo, too, to MC2 Mathew Diendorf for “sponsoring” the Camper to the rocket launches.
Kudos to Paul Crowe, Kaua‘i High School Physics teacher, for getting the kids motivated with the rocket projects (Jerry Nishihira said that’s the hook) … Joshua Herr (there’s no cross country, or track, right now), Mikal Moranz, Randon Valenciano, Matthew Kawamura, Daeza Tomas (getting ready to golf) and more had a chance to watch Stu’s “big boy” fail to deploy the parachute, but Stu said it’ll be back, just like Matthew’s — only a little shorter.
And on the subject of track, Waimea’s Kawena Warren (she was cheering Wednesday) said she’s also ready for track with a little golf practice thrown in.
