LIHU‘E — The Hawaiian State Teachers Association-Retired of Kaua‘i will hold its general membership meeting Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at the ILWU Local Kaua‘i building, located at 4154 Hardy St. in Lihu‘e.
“We’re going to hear from Jane Riley about that hard word ‘aging,’” HSTA-Retired Kaua‘i District President Jean Dobashi. “After we’ll have elections for two-year terms for Secretary, Treasurer and four Board of Directors.”
Those elected will serve from 2013 to 2015. The group will also be electing delegates to attend the HSTA-Retired annual delegate assembly April 26 on O‘ahu. Transportation will be provided.
