LIHU’E — The Kaua’i Police Department continues to search for a man and woman who were reported missing earlier this month. Police do not believe the cases are related. Ilya Nikolayevich Lomov, age 42, was reported missing on Jan. 9.
LIHU’E — The Kaua’i Police Department continues to search for a man and woman who were reported missing earlier this month. Police do not believe the cases are related.
Ilya Nikolayevich Lomov, age 42, was reported missing on Jan. 9.
Lomov was last seen on Jan. 2 in Kalalau Valley. He has not returned home to California or made contact with his family since.
Lomov had a camping permit for several campsites on the North Shore. His permit was valid from Dec. 29 through Jan. 3.
Lomov is six feet two inches tall and weighs roughly 220 pounds. He has brown eyes, brown hair, a heavy build and a light tan complexion. Lomov is of Caucasian descent.
Izabela Kozak, age 32 of Kapa‘a, has not made contact with her family since Nov. 16, 2012, and they are concerned for her welfare.
Kozak is five feet three inches tall and weighs roughly 110 pounds. She has brown eyes, brown dreadlocks, a thin build and fair complexion. Kozak is of Caucasian descent.
“We continue to ask the public to be on the lookout for both of these individuals,” said Roy Asher, KPD Assistant Chief. “Should you have any information on their possible locations, please contact police immediately.”
