LIHU‘E — The Agency on Elderly Affairs is still accepting nominations for the 2013 Outstanding Male and Female Older American awards, according to a county news release.
The submittal deadline is Feb. 28.
Nomination forms are available Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the AEA office located at the Lihu‘e Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Building, Ste. 330.
The program is designed to recognize older adults age 65 and older that have made exceptional contributions to their communities, the release states.
All nominees will be honored at an awards ceremony in May, and Kaua‘i’s awardees will also be announced at that event.
