The Zonta Club of Hanalei Foundation announced its Fourth Annual Scholarship program for 2013.
Scholarships will be awarded to eligible young women who are graduating seniors from all Kaua‘i high schools (including home schools) and are pursuing an undergraduate degree, higher education or skills training certification.
Also eligible are all Kaua‘i women residents who are currently enrolled in a college or university, or are planning on returning to school to pursue an undergraduate degree, or higher education or a skills training certificate.
Applications are now available at counseling offices located at Kapa‘a High School, Kaua‘i High School, Island School and Waimea High School as well as Kaua‘i Community College. They are also available online at www.zontaclubofhanalei.com.
Deadline for acceptance is March 23.
Also available through the Zonta International Organization is the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship for women who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in business management and who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field.
Deadline for acceptance is in early May 2012.
Also being offered is a Young Women in Public Affairs Award.
