Registration for Pedal to the Meadow on May 26 is open.
The race goes from Kekaha to the Kanaloahuluhulu Meadow in the Koke‘e State Park. Finishers and supporters can enjoy the Banana Poka Round-Up festival, which will be taking place at the same time, hosted by the Koke‘e Museum and Hui o Laka.
Presented by the Tradewind Cycling Team, the Pedal to the Meadow is the fourth running of the race that starts at sea level and traverses 15.75 miles with an elevation gain of 3,835 feet.
The race starts at 8 a.m. at Koke‘e Road intersection at the haul cane road.
There are categories for men, women and children.
Entry fee is $35 if received online before the race week. Late fee is $45.
A USA Cycling license is required for all riders. Visit www.usacycling.org for riders who do not have the annual license.
Registered racers may pick up their packets on May 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Kalaheo Cafe, May 24 from 3 to 5 p.m., and on May 25 from noon to 2 p.m. at Kaua‘i Cycle in Kapa‘a.
Race officials said there will be no race day registration.
