Frank said this was the first time they could bring in so many of the riding mowers, including the Gravely and eXmark line as well as get help from Fred Joyner of Ariens who held a landscaping workshop through the KCC Office of Continuing Education and Training. The expo was an extension of this program.
Being held on the other side of the Garden Fair, it got some overflow from people shopping for gardening and farming equipment.
Kudos to Melissa McFerrin on pulling off the event despite the thunder and lightning.
Teddy Daligdig of the Kaua‘i Civil Defense was in touch with the Emergency Operating Center from the Contractors Association of Kaua‘i, and John Constantino had the National Weather Service satellite loop going on his monitor so people could keep track of the weather.
Ok, hopefully everyone got their taxes filed on time.
Today is tax deadline day.
