Ethel Buchanan
Ethel Leimomi Palama Buchanan of Kalaheo passed away at Maunalani Health Center in Honolulu on April 20, 2013, at the age of 91. She was born on April 12, 1922, and retired as a Kapuna teacher from Kalaheo Elementary School.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Buchanan Sr.
She is survived by one son, Alexander Buchanan Jr.; two daughters, Leimomi Thompson and Marvelyn Clini; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013, with visitation from 1:30 and services beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery Pavillion in Hanapepe. Burial will follow.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home and Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary assisted the Buchanan family with arrangements.
Jay Mossman
Jay Mossman of Kapaa passed away on April 12, 2013 at home at the age of 53. He was born on September 11, 1960. He was a carpenter.
He is survived by his parents, Georgia and Ralph Mossman of Wailua; his former wife Yuki Mossman of Kapaa; 2 sons; Nicholas Mossman of Wailua; Reyn Mossman of Colorado.
There will be a service and scattering of his ashes fronting his home via Kayak by family and close friends at a later date.
Arrangements are being handles by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Diane Perry
Diane A. Perry of Lawai, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on April 19, 2013 at Straub Hospital, Oahu, at the age of 64. She was a retired dental assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Anderson Perry; daughter, Andrea (Brandon Rita) Perry; son, Keith Perry; parents, David Sr. & Carmen Abreu; brother, David (Sharon) Abreu; sister, Edna Abreu; 1 grandchild, numerous Aunties & Uncles and nieces and nephews.
Celebration of her life is Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Old Koloa Church and visitation at 9:00 a.m. and service at 10:30 a.m.
Arrangements were handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary, Koloa, Kauai.
