Donald L. Ouderkirk, Sr.
Donald L. Ouderkirk, Sr., 82, of Kalaheo passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 22, 2013. Born on November 23, 1930 in Brockton, Massachusetts, he was a retired Chief Operator with Kauai Electric Co and retired US Coast Guard.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lester Ouderkirk and mother, Elsie Anderson Ouderkirk; and brother, Merton Ouderkirk.
He is survived by his wife, Ludi Ouderkirk; son, Donald (Jamie) L. Ouderkirk Jr. of Hanamaulu; daughters, Donna S. Ouderkirk of San Francisco CA., Tiger (Philip) Ouderkirk-Bachler of Atherton CA., Dyan Nicole “Nikki” Ouderkirk of Kalaheo, and Debbie Balch of Virginia; sister, Roberta (Arthur) Ouderkirk Bradstreet of Sandwich, MA.; sister-in-law, Barbara Ouderkirk of West Bridgewater, MA.; twelve grandchildren, Brandon, Christopher, and Andrew Ouderkirk, Kayla Bailey, RJ, Ashley, Christopher, Isabella, and Luke Bachler, and Sarah and Erin Balch; one great-grandchild; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Service will start at 11:00 am. Burial will be at the Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery; lunch to follow. Family suggests casual attire and flowers are welcome.

Gordon Kireto, 71, of Lihue passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 23, 2013. Born on March 29, 1942 in Eleele, Kauai, he was a retired radar maintenance supervisor with Hawaii Air National Guard 154th squadron.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Kireto; daughters, Cathy (Ross) Kagawa and Lani (Cory) Gokan, both of Lihue; sister, Lois Kireto of Seattle, WA; and four grandchildren, Malia Kagawa of Seattle, WA, Kalei Kagawa of Lihue, Riley Gokan of Lihue, and Kai Gokan of Lihue.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Friends may visit with the family at 4:00 pm, service to follow at 5:00 pm. Inurnment at a later date.
Family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.
